Thursday, November 6:  Complete worksheet on journal research and/or work on your Unit 3 or Unit 4 papers.  Unit 3 papers due by 9:00 p.m.

 For next class:  Email copy of your Unit 4 Pro Con essay to marshalgriffiths@gmail.com.  Bring to class copies of your Unit 3 and Unit 4 essays printed out.  Email to marshalgriffiths@gmail.com your reflection about what you have learned about scholarly research in your field through our last two exercises (considering scholarly article from your paper and considering two articles in the same journal and doing the worksheet.)  What you should have in your folder:

Unit 3 essay (written copy - you should have emailed this paper to marshalgriffiths@gmail.com on 11/6)
Unit 4 essay (written copy and email this essay to marshalgriffiths@gmail.comfor grading)
Your reflection about what you have learned about scholarly writing in your field (1/2 - 1 page)
Worksheet considering two journal articles
Your analysis of the scholarly article from your paper

In Class Workshop October 28, 2014.  For next class, read Chapter 15. p. 317 to the top of page 334. Complete assignment 1 on page 447, analyzing one of the scholarly journal articles that you are using in your project.
